Naby Keïta Latest Liverpool Star to Suffer International Injury

Liverpool have seen their injury worries continue with the news that Naby Keita has been forced out of Guinea’s game with an injury.

Keita has suffered a suspected hamstring injury during Guinea’s clash with Rwanda on Tuesday afternoon.

The news came after both Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk had both picked up injuries for Egypt and Holland respectively.

Keita started the Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match in Kigali but was forced off in the first half.

To make matters worse, a stretcher was not available and Keita had to be carried off the field by a teammate.

It’s now unlikely that the £52 million midfielder will be fit for Liverpool’s clash with Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
